Bangau Oh!Bangau

This is a folk song about the egret or bangau (in Malay). Or if you look under wikipedia, it’s also called the ‘Chinese Pond Heron’.

One night, when we were on our way home from our parents house, my husband made me sing this song. (I’m suppose to keep him awake all way home). It’s nice remembering these folk songs again and singing it to your children. If I knew how to upload videos to this blog, I would get my kids to sing it. But since I’ve not acquired that know-how, I’ll just jot down the song.
