Ovarian Cyst
We went to visit my sister last weekend at mom’s house. She had just undergone a surgery to take out her cyst. She was diagnosed some time back , when she went for a check up on fertility. She was quite anxious for she had not conceived after 6 years of marriage.
She experienced something like a bad menstrual pain, cramping, contractions, etc about a week before her surgery then. After a check-up with her doctor from a women’s clinic, confirmed that her cyst had grown to 5 cm and about to burst in 6 weeks time! Very alarming. The doctor referred her to the emergency at a XXX hospital AND they gave her an appointment on March 6, told her her to go back and rest. What are they waiting for?!! The cyst to burst…?!! If it burst, she might even have to remove her ovary/ovaries.
Her friends advised her to go to the specialist she consulted once. (A specialist fee is quite high, the reason why she seek treatment at a women’s clinic). She went and after a thorough examination, confirmed that the cyst was about time to burst and she also had blood clot behind her ovary.
Alhamdulillah , now she’s recuperating. I think she will be OK. Thanks Doc.
